Steps To Set Up Lightning Schedulers In Salesforce Org

Step 1: Assign the Lightning Scheduler Setup app to the System Administrator Profile.

  • Open Salesforce Org.
  • From Setup, Go to the Quick Find Box, enter ‘App Manager,’ and then select App Manager.
  •  In the Lightning Experience App Manager, click on the Salesforce Scheduler Setup dropdown and click Edit.                
  •  Then, inside App Settings, select User Profile.
  • Next, move the System Administrator Profile to the Selected Profile.
  •   Now save the Changes

Step 2: Lightning Scheduler Permission Set.

  •  From Setup, In the Quick Find Box, Enter Permission Set, and then Select Permission Sets.
  • Now click New.
  • Then, enter a Label, API Name, and Description for your permission set. Use Salesforce Scheduler Resource to keep it simple.
  • Next, select Salesforce Scheduler to Set the License as given follows-
  • Next, click Save.
  • Now, on the Permission set overview page, go to Under System. Click System Permissions.
  • Click Edit, and Enable the option ‘Let a user be included in appointments in Salesforce Scheduler.’ Then Save.
  • Again, Save for Confirmation.
  • Once the setup is done, go to the App Launcher, search for ‘Salesforce Scheduler,’ and then select Salesforce Scheduler Application.

Now, you can work in Salesforce Scheduler Setup and schedule the appointment according to your requirements.
