3CX integration with Salesforce

System Requirements

The Salesforce plugin utilizes the Salesforce Web Services API. Therefore you need a Salesforce Enterprise account or Salesforce Unlimited account to use this plugin.

How to connect 3CX with Salesforce?

Salesforce Configuration

Step 1: Log in to your Salesforce account https://login.salesforce.com/.

Step 2: Click on “Gear icon” >  “Setup.”

Step 3:  Select “Apps > App Manager.”

Step 4: Click the “New Connected App” button on the top right of the webpage.

After creating the connected app, you will get the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret. We will need to add these later inside the 3CX CRM Server side integration section.

Step 5: Click on your profile image on the top right corner > Settings.

Step 6: On the side, the menu selects “Reset My Security Token.”

Step 7: Press Reset Security Token. An email will be sent with the new security token. We will need to add this later inside the 3CX CRM Server side integration section.

→ Go the Settings tab inside the 3CX and then select CRM Integration then you need to follow the following steps:

Step 1: Login to the 3CX Management Console  and go to “Settings” > “CRM Integration” > “Server-Side” tab.

Step 2: In the CRM Provider Configuration section select Salesforce in the “Select a CRM Solution” field.

Step 3: In the General Configuration section fill all the required fields: Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, Username, Password, and Security token.

→ When you enable the “Enable Call Journaling section” it will create the record of activity when a user made the call.

→  When you enable the “Enable Contact Creation”, it will create the record of Contact or lead according to the “Create Lead or Contact” selected.

Creation of record:

Step 1: Click on the Test button.

Step 2: Enter the phone number and then click on the Test button.

After clicking on the Test button, you will get the contact record created ID.
