Integrating HubSpot with Slack: Here’s Everything You Need To Know

  • The HubSpot email must match the Slack user email. 

Setting Up Integration between HubSpot and Slack

Step 1. Login to your Hubspot Account

Step 2. Go to Marketplace and click on the App Marketplace option to integrate HubSpot with Slack

Step 3. Once you land on the Marketplace, search for Slack in the search box of the Marketplace

Step 4. Click on the Install App option to install the App

Step 5. After successful installation of Slack, enter your workspace name, or you can also create a new workspace to go to your Slack workspace

Step 6. You will see you are accessing your Slack Account, and the Hubspot app is integrated with your Slack account

Step 7. Now go to any slack message for more actions by clicking on the three dots

Step 8. Now you will see a few options to integrate your Slack with Hubspot. You can either 

  • Create a Task in Hubspot
  • Create a Ticket in Hubspot

Step 9. For now, I am going to create Create a Ticket in Hubspot, so click on the option as shown below. 

Step 10. A pop-up window will appear for creating a ticket, so you need to provide some information like Ticket Title, Description, Pipeline, and Status and then click on Save.

Step 11. As soon as you hit the Save button, you will see in the Hubspot app that only your ticket has been created.

Step 12. Now go to your Hubspot account and click on the Service Hub to open the Tickets list

Step 13. You will see that the ticket has been created in Hubspot from Slack with all the details you provided.

Step 14. If you open the ticket, you can see all the provided details and descriptions.
