Salesforce AppExchange, a hub for customers and partners of Salesforce, provides mobile, cloud, IoT, social, analytics, and AI technologies for organizations, and includes more than 7 million installs.
Charlie Richey, Vice President of Product Management for Salesforce AppExchange, remarked the solutions were built by technology partners on top of the Salesforce platform. Richey added these solutions can be used for solving specific challenges that are faced by customers throughout their digital transformation journeys.
The Salesforce Product Management VP went on to add that customer demand is what rightly drives the creation of all solutions across a wide range of product categories. He also remarked Salesforce is witnessing digitally-native organizations in every industry taking over the market profits and share that incumbents spent many decades building and the best thing is that this is happening really fast.
Richey also commented that the introduction of these amazing solutions truly presents a wonderful opportunity for AppExchange to assist organizations, irrespective of their industry or size, to innovate further in the ever-evolving technology landscape of today. It was also commented that the new AppExchange Product Collection for Salesforce Commerce Cloud aims to simplify the process of identifying the right partner-built commerce solution to satisfy the requirements of customers. This collection helps customers build delighting and customized customer experiences to meet and exceed the unique business requirements.
The Salesforce Product Management VP also said brands must leverage these custom partner-built solutions to deliver amazing consumer experiences that are tailor-made to individual facets of eCommerce, including but not limited to shipping, subscriptions, content management, AI-powered search, and more. Organizations can easily capture information during e-signature with the new billing payment applications or easily connect their payment gateway to Salesforce billing without the requirement of building or maintaining the integration.
