Mulesoft, the leading application network platform, has released new tools, learning modules, and pre-packaged & ready-made connectors that make it easy to integrate data from various sources without writing a single line of code. With the latest AI-powered Einstein tools, more people can connect data from anywhere harness the full potential of Salesforce Customer 360.

Salesforce launched Customer 360, its customer data platform, last year. Salesforce’s Customer data platform (CDP), also known as the data management platform, is an add-on of Salesforce Customer 360 Truth that was announced at Dreamforce 2019.

Salesforce Customer 360 Truth helps companies seamlessly connect and integrate customer data across sales, service, marketing, commerce and 3rd party applications with a single customer ID.

Core Functions of CDP

Tool for Marketing: A tool for marketing professionals that provides relevant insights needed to run campaigns.

Customer engagement: Makes every customer touchpoint (Service, Commerce, etc.) relevant and engaging.

Insight and Engagement: Collects data from everywhere and use it anywhere to deliver better and personalized customer experiences.

In 2018, Salesforce acquired Mulesoft for $6.5 billion to assist customers to connect all of their relevant data, regardless of where the data is located, either on cloud or on-premise. MuleSoft’s platform is utilized to connect software through application programming interfaces (APIs).

Simon Parmet, CEO of Mulesoft, said: “By understanding the power of APIs and integration, anyone can accelerate the digital transformation within their organization.”

The first new tool on the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform is Flow Designer that uses Einstein AI to enable users to create integrations and automate business processes without writing a single line of code.

Einstein provides recommendations for data-mapping to non-IT users. This tool eliminates the complex process of maintaining servers, records, and infrastructure. Simultaneously, the IT teams can continue to monitor, manage, and secure the API through the Anypoint platform.

Mulesoft also introduces pre-built integration templates called Accelerators.

The MuleSoft Accelerator built for Service Cloud will provide service agents templates to connect ServiceNow and Jira with the Salesforce Service Cloud and make tickets directly from Service Cloud.

The MuleSoft Accelerator for Commerce Cloud integrates inventory and catalog data directly into the Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

Mulesoft has also updated the Anypoint API Community Manager, providing the ability to view APIs, content articles, cases, forum posts, and client applications using keywords and categories including API Catalog and Integrated Search. At the same time, users can share integration and APIs within the organization via Anypoint Exchange.

Besides, these modules enable anyone to be an “Integration Trailblazer” and easily connect data sources, despite their location. It is offering resources are related to API basics, API creation, API ROI, and API ecosystems. Mulesoft said it would “skill up” 100,000 workers over the next five years.
